ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSÂ
- Develop and update marketing plans and special events calendar, with short- and long-range goals
- Develop and distribute press releases and marketing correspondence
- Maintain media database and relevant contact lists for marketing and volunteers
- Coordinate and monitor all event timelines to ensure all deadlines for events and marketing are met
- Volunteer Management, with includes but is not limited to:
- Organizing volunteers for events
- Develop corporate volunteer engagement
- Coordinate special event volunteer needs
- Build rapport with past and new volunteers
- Manage volunteer database (Volunteer Hub)
- Gather data for event calendars, annual reports, and requested marketing information
- Coordinate event timelines and deadlines
- Draft initial press release and email materials for campaigns
- Send marketing materials for proofing and to print
- Attend agency fairs, business mixers and community events throughout the ten counties we serve
- Assist with campaign as needed or required
- Collaborate with co-workers as it relates to events, marketing, and volunteers
- Manage and execute in person, virtual or hybrid fundraising events to meet revenue goals, inspire engagement and provide high quality experiences.
- In conjunction with the Marketing Director:
- Facilitate event planning such as: logistics, vendors, volunteers, committee/staff tasks, digital platform, materials & promotion, sponsor/donor outreach & recognition, and budget/event analysis.
- Support for external fundraising events with community partners as needed.
- Provide team support for outreach & recognition events as needed.
