At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana we create and support 1:1 mentoring relationships. Your financial contribution or in kind donation helps us continue to serve additional youth in our communities.  It costs approximately $1.500.00 a year to support one match and we serve over 700 youth on average each year.  We currently have over 500 youth waiting to be matched with a consistent and dependable role model.  Our volunteers must complete a thorough and extensive application before being approved and your financial support allows us to vet more volunteer applicants as well as provide resources to the families and youth we support.

You have a BIG opportunity in front of you— to not only impact a child’s life today— but to transform their potential for tomorrow.  At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana we have over 500 local youth waiting to be paired up with an adult mentor.  The vast majority of our waiting youth are males and most are seeking a consistent, dependable male role model.  

Our mentors, Bigs, will meet with their paired youth, Little, about 2-3 times per month.  During these activities, the Bigs and Littles, participate in shared interests; i.e. going for a walk, trying new foods, attending sporting events, or going to the park.
