Every 8 minutes the American Red Cross responds to a disaster, the majority of which are home fires.
When a house fire leaves a family displaced from their homes, Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers are there. As a member of our Disaster Action Teams, you will provide comfort and compassion when our neighbors need it the most. Help individuals and families meet their immediate needs with a place to stay, food, clothing, toiletries and financial assistance.
No prior experience is necessary and we will provide all of your (free!) training.
